Was BMFA newsletter03 Feb 2004 18:06 GMT10
I just rered mine with a super critical eye due to previous thread and , you
know, we are being harsh.  In terms of *content* it's on a par with the rest
of the mags...a bit of power, slope, scale, plus indoor, eleccy, helis etc.
Much the same as Aeromodeller was.
Fish tailing03 Feb 2004 13:40 GMT15
What causes a plane to horizontally wiggle (fish tail) when flying under
power? The control surfaces are true and slop free and the CG is exactly in
the right place with a dry tank.

Ace Digipace 1 operators manual needed03 Feb 2004 13:26 GMT2
Does anyone have a manual on the Ace R/C Digipace 1 charger? A scan
would be greatly appreciated. This was purchased at a local swap meet
and looks like a pretty decent unit. It has a selectable 50ma/120ma
receiver charge rate, a discharge feature with an LED timer readout,

R/C in Middle East  Gulf region03 Feb 2004 10:32 GMT26
My work may soon be taking me to the Middle East, in the Saudi Arabia,
and/or Iraq areas.
Is there any R/C flying planes or helis there?  What about hobby shops?
Mail order shops that serve the area?

Saito 120 Spraybar Orientation03 Feb 2004 05:45 GMT1
Need to replace subject part on my two-plug gold head Saito.  My guess
is that the fuel metering slot is positioned to look directly into the
carb throat.  Can somebody confirm?  TIA

I like Power Poles but I see that many use Dean's.  And then
there are the Tamiya connectors.
what are you folks using?
Paralleled batteries, partners?03 Feb 2004 03:38 GMT23
Last night I left my 2 Kokam 11.1 V batteries connected in parallel
for about 10 hours. They were brand new and were not put under load.
To my surprise, they had the same voltage value when checked,
(11.55V).  When I first checked them their voltages varied by about
virtual flying?03 Feb 2004 00:55 GMT3
My husband thinks there is a software program you can get, that when you
attach your remote controls to the computer, you can simulate flying a model
airplane.
Anyone heard of this, we don't even know the title of any programs that does
Moles on the Patch!02 Feb 2004 23:53 GMT13
Hi folks..
We fly off a grass patch which is regularly visited by moles. It occurred to
me that others must have the same problem and wondered if anyone has found a
cure.

help! engine mount on a Thunder Tiger Trainer MKII02 Feb 2004 18:12 GMT4
I pranged my Thunder tigre trainer (MKII) last weekend, and broke the engine
mount (nothing else thankfully!).
Trouble is, I can't find a replacement engine mount to fit the existing
mounting points on the firewall.
Cloud Dancer ARF02 Feb 2004 14:44 GMT1
Just got a TT Cloud Dancer 40 ARF.  It was well packaged and there was no
damage.  It is all built-up construction covered with UltraCoat.  The
covering job is excellent.  Hinge slots are all cut.  I don't think weight
is going to be a problem.  I haven't weighed the pieces yet, but ...
