Does it make any sense to use a BEC on a electric sailplane? If I use the motor until the BEC shuts down the motor and catch a decent thermal, it seems like I am likely to run the battery down to zero and lose control. With a gas gauge (ESV) on a seperate rec battery, I will have a ...

hi there am building a replica of Titanic, as i am customizing in my own way, i want to have weapons on board, i watched a movie called "problem child" in which he had a remote control helicopter and he used it to shot little "bb-pellets" through these machine gun type of gun..

I would like to build a 60-90 sized O1 Bird Dog. Since I was in the 'Nam era and was in a AF Squadron that hd O2As and O1s I bought an O2A kit, but would also like to get a Bird Dog. Any ideas and suggestions for a quality kit? Tnx,

Any opinions/experiences with the Fuji range of engines from Tower, particularly the 50cc and the 64cc? On paper, they are far more powerful than the equivalent Zenoah model, they more advanced ignition etc. ??

On today's Judge Judy TV program she heard a case where someone was flying what looks like a 40 or 60 size model and it crashed in his neighbor's yard. Dug a good size divot in the lawn. The flyer was suing the neighbor to return the remnants of his plane and equipment.
