I'm brushing up my GeeBee, getting it ready to go after a couple of nasty
landings, and while I was tinkering with the motor, I noticed this strange
behavior - with the battery disconnected from the plane, the motor turns

Does it make any sense to use a BEC on a electric sailplane?  If I use the
motor until the BEC shuts down the motor and catch a decent thermal, it
seems like I am likely to run the battery down to zero and lose control.

hi there  am building a replica of Titanic, as i am customizing in my
own way, i want to have weapons on board, i watched a movie called
"problem child" in which he had a remote control helicopter and he used
it to shot little "bb-pellets" through these machine gun type of gun..

Have any of you experience with the Fighterbird RC plane?  I know its not a
PRO toy, but looks like great fun.  I have bought one for myself and my
friend also has one - just waiting on the batteries changing.

I would like to build a 60-90 sized O1 Bird Dog. Since I was in the 'Nam era
and was in a AF Squadron that hd O2As and O1s I bought an O2A kit, but would
also like to get a Bird Dog. Any ideas and suggestions for a quality kit?

I have two identical Futaba Super 7UGFS transmitters, and want to buddy
them together for a training airplane. I've searched the archives and
found that when the buddy box is enabled, all the computer settings of the
master are for naught, apparently. Lotta programming work for

Any opinions/experiences with the Fuji range of engines from Tower,
particularly the 50cc and the 64cc?
On paper, they are far more powerful than the equivalent Zenoah model, they
more advanced ignition etc. ??

On today's Judge Judy TV program she heard a case where someone was flying
what looks like a 40 or 60 size model and it crashed in his neighbor's yard.
Dug a good size divot in the lawn.  The flyer was suing the neighbor to
return the remnants of his plane and equipment.
