typhoon brushless motors28 Feb 2004 13:56 GMT2
has anyone tried one of these yet? They've been reviewed in a couple of the
mags but being a touch cynical I thought I'd ask some fliers without an axe
to grind. It's me birthday soon and SWMBO has kindly offered to buy me the
smaller size along with the speed controller (around the ...

Where in the UK can I buy reuseable cable ties for securing my battery

hobbytron........electric plane28 Feb 2004 05:55 GMT4
Hello,  I bought this plane late in the fall last year.  Having problems trying
to find a place to fly it.  Today I found a site that is for rc planes.....I

Repost: Rudder has negative roll coupling on Arresti?27 Feb 2004 22:53 GMT3
Sorry to those who've already read this on uk.rec.models.radio-control.air
but I've drawn a blank there so far.
I'm flying a Hangar 9 Arresti at the moment and notice there is quite a lot

Clearcoat for Solartex?27 Feb 2004 21:33 GMT3
I am looking for a good clearcoat for Solartex that will not get gummy or
soften if I have to re-iron or repair it in the future. In the past, I have
used or tested Lusterkote, Minwax Polyurethane, automotive 2 part clears and
the new Ultracote clear. Of these, the Lusterkote seems ...

part with, I'd be happy to pay a fair price.  Please let me know if
you can help.

friend's plane..  Sherman Dickson kindly sent me a piece...

Negative rudder roll coupling?27 Feb 2004 11:42 GMT7
I'm flying a Hangar 9 Arresti at the moment and notice there is quite a lot
of negative roll coupling.  That is full left (say) rudder causes a right
bank, which the slight dihedral translates into a right yaw.  This tends to
cancel out the intended direction change.
Electric Ducted Fan27 Feb 2004 11:18 GMT3
