Just popped my 4:1 box /motor in the new thermal soarer and this is what I
get...
7 cells, 3600rpm on 13x7, 10 amps.
8 cells, 4100rpm on 13x7, 11 amps.

I got a request from a customer for a piston and liner for a Fox 36X.  Fox
no longer makes these or has any stock so that source is out.  Anyone know
of a old CL flier that maybe has a set stuck away in a closet?

Will a PCM 10 R1000DS work on a PCM 9.  Just got one with my new jet and it
dont work... Do I need a different crystal it says dual conversion on the

The instructions for my Great Planes PT-40 are telling me to remove the
servo arms and wheels from my servos and install the rubber grommets
that came with them. What's a rubber grommet, and how do I install it?
I have Futaba S3004 servos.

I have been reading this group for at least 3 years.  During the last 3-4 weeks
many very disgusting off topic posts have been showing up.  What is going on?
Who is posting this garbage and turning a good thing into an x-rated forum?

I just got a giant seamaster from the estate of a fellow club member.
I'm at least the third owner.
I'm currently stripping the painted fabric covering to redo with
monokote, and some repairs.

I just had my Astro 05 commutator resurfaced and I am wondering how can
I clean the brushes? With everybody flying brushless now, my local hobby
shop doesn't stock the brushes. Whats the best way to clean them?
Dremel with wire brush wheel? Or just clean them up with alcohol?

I have a nearly new Futaba FPS 136G Retract Servo which has stopped
retracting.
It will lower after manually rotating it to the retract or mid position.
Receiver signal is OK as substituting another Servo works fine in both

Eastbourne Monoplane, this is for a friend here in NZ, I am not sure exactly
what he wants but anything would be worth a look, he is building a 19"
rubber kit he bought in the UK about 3 years ago.

Recently sold a model with all links included but no radio or servos.
Have now discovered that my last servo arm for a HiTec 805 servo went with
the model.
These servos are very large with a bigger splined output that 'norma'
