Does anyone make a beefed up landing gear for the aerobird?
It seems a little flimsy and constantly is bending back on soft landings.

Has anyone ever use one of these in the 46 or 60 size. I'm thinking about
buying one, and was wondering how good they were.

I want to dye a clear canopy on my new Sig 4 Star 40 a dark grey or
almost black tint.  I understand that using Rit Dye is the way to go,
which I went out and bought this evening.  Other than that, are there
any tricks to using this stuff?  Any input you may have would be

To an incredulous audience I said "and they (thats you lot)say that if I

I need to make up a bunch of ribs for my first gasser ( a 1500 sq in
bipe ).  I have a large supply of 4" wide balsa.  If I cut my ribs ( about

1.75").  If I splice two 4" x 12" sheets together ( making an 8" x ...
Balancing a biplane24 Apr 2004 21:16 GMT5
Hi;
I've tried to do a little research on blancing a biplane, but even so, it
seems two trains of thought emerge:
1)  Viewed from the top, consider the combined outline of both wings as a

Servo City order situation24 Apr 2004 20:09 GMT6
I visited the Servo City dot com web site last week and placed an order for
some odds & ends for a project that I have in the works. They offer secure
ordering through the web site, and that is a good thing.  I placed my order
and the next day received email stating that several of ...

I bought 2 packs of Rapid some weeks ago, I used one pack shortly after
buying them and despite trying increased amounts of hardener it would not
set properly. It just remained soft and sticky even when left overnight.

Aerobird Xtreme24 Apr 2004 11:54 GMT7
I have recently bought an aerobird xtreme (my second plane, first was
an accipiter badius power glider), & find it to be a low 17 on a scale

I am very new to the sport & have not had the opportunity to get any
