Hybrid Powerplant03 May 2004 11:01 GMT17
Has anyone has come across, or attempted to build for themselves, a hybrid
RC plane?  I'm thinking of an internal combustion engine driving an

Flight timer on any of the Futaba tx's?03 May 2004 08:54 GMT3
Do any of the upper end Futabas feature a flight timer?  I have a 6EXA as my
first radio, but it doesn't have a timer on it.
Ideally it'd be easy to set - not having to wade through 3 or 4 menu levels
to get at it, and perhaps give a one minute chirp to give you a 'heads up'.

Does anyone know of a place where you can still buy a pin board that you

NiMH batteries01 May 2004 21:50 GMT8
Well, I've started building again (after a hiatus of several years spent
skydiving).  I see NiMH batteries in the hobby stores now.
Are there any on-line articles on the care and feeding of NiMH
batteries?  Are they as reliable as NiCds?  If I re-equip my models with
