I have a lot of radio control car, airplane, and helicopter items for sale or
trade as well as some GMC Denali Wheels, BBS style wheels, and an NHT powered
subwoofer.  I'd be interested in trading for musical gear, recording gear,
keyboards or synthesizers, some nice appliances i.e. ...

I am new to rc airplanes and need some advice on what to get.
Ultimately I would like to get into 4 channel flying, but I realize I
need to get a simpler plane to train on.
My first question is this, it seems like most of the easier to fly

Humorous Photo29 May 2004 04:14 GMT7
This photo is so funny I just have to share it. It is about twenty years old
but I still laugh when I see it. One of our club members had a Spinks Acro
and he loved to fly down the center of the field inverted at a low level
then pull straight up at the middle of the field.

Helicopters (real ones) over the flying field28 May 2004 22:50 GMT14
Last weekend, we had a couple of helicopters come right over our flying
field - at a height of maybe 300 feet tops above ground level.
Shouldn't aircraft avoid known flying clubs?
Luckily, no-one was in the air , and we saw them coming through the hills in
Breaking in motors28 May 2004 22:36 GMT11
I have a Magnetic Mayhem motor which I use to fly my Easy Street. However, I
made the mistake and used it without breaqking in the motor, so after a 7 to
8 flights the motor refused to turn the propeller. I was told that my
brushes are gone so I went and bought a pair of new ones in ...
The Great Hoax?  Do Zagi Razors Really Fly?28 May 2004 18:42 GMT7
I have had it with my Zagi Razor!  It simply refuses to fly.  I can
get it up into the air (even built a PVC peddle launcher to get the
perfect launch) but if I attempt to make any maneuver it spirals into
the ground.  I have read and re-read the manual and have set it up

Joining Small Aluminium Tube28 May 2004 02:27 GMT18
I'm trying to make a set of scale retracts out of aluminium tube (7/32",
3/16" and 5/32") but wondering how best to join the parts. I know that if I
want to WELD aluminium then I need to TIG weld it, but is it possible to
braze/silver solder this?

So, at WalMart, there is a $29.95 RC airplane (complete .. transmitter
and all!)  made by Cox/Estes Rockets.
There is even a "online flight school" at their website.

Website ideas27 May 2004 19:30 GMT4
Our flying club is thinking of setting up a website and just wondered what
some of the clubs to which subscribers to the group had found useful or
interesting additions to their sites?
Any ideas (within the law) appreciated.
