I have a 480 motor and the polarity of the terminals is not marked. Does, it matter which way the motor turns - if so which way. I know it matters with respect to the prop but I have a carbon reversable prop so I have four combinations of wiring/prop fitting and two of them

I've heard of some RC hobbyist being able to acheive afterburner-like effects on their ducted fan jet planes but can't recall. Does anyone know of a good reference on how to modify one? Thanks in advance.
