Anybody ever try to balance the Great Planes 70 inch Stuka where it didn't practically fall off the balancer because it's so nose heavy? Just curious as to what you have done to balance it. I could do the obvious but I only want to add lead weights as a last resort. Here's my

| Saito 150 | 21 May 2004 18:13 GMT | 7 |
I have a saito 150 that I am just breaking in. I can run the tank dry on the ground without the engine dying. However when I get it in the air it will fly for 2 or 3 minutes, at level flight, then it quits. I have run about 6 or 7 tanks of fuel through it so far. Has anyone out

| Fuel draw question/problem solved | 21 May 2004 13:43 GMT | 8 |
I was having fuel draw problems with a new plane. The tank was a little far back which doesn't help, but the problem turned out to be the pitts style muffler. I read a post on rcuniverse about reduced tank pressure due to using a pitts muffler. They said to block one hole on the ...

RC Trailer--Starcraft '78 Pop Up Trailer converted for RC Use. This is a nice 8' long, 7 foot wide completely sealed trailer in very good condition. The trailer can easily handle 4 planes up to 1/3 scale and probably a 40% on the diagonal. It has 120V hookup and all benches, beds, ...

| Newbie question about electric vs gas | 21 May 2004 10:26 GMT | 30 |
I'm considering trying to build a plane. Like an earlier poster, I'm definitely a do-it-yourself, crash-and-burn-a-few-times, kind of person. I'm definitely not interested in joining a club. I have four questions for you experts out there. I've tried

| Li Poly, shorter flights? | 21 May 2004 10:04 GMT | 3 |
I flew my E3D plane by Gary Wright last Sunday and another club member was timing the flight duration. I had to come down when the battery lacked "oomph" (plane will not climb), just a few seconds short of 11 minutes. Both flights.
