I need to cut the center section out of a large radial cowl, and enlarge the
opening in some fiberglass wheelpants.
I'd appreciate input on the best tool to use to get a good clean cut.  A
specific dremel bit perhaps?

Have a wing I need to recover with film.
What I want to do is use a base colour, and then add two diagonal 6" wide
bars to each wing, to make it a little better looking than before.
Not too  sure how to go about this, as from what I've seen of bought wings,

I just installed a set of ARC floats on my NexStar.  Everything is balanced
and aligned.  It looks real nice.  However, I haven't flown off of water

Hi, haven't been on here for a while - haven't flown for a while. Anyway I
got my Acrowot out last weekend for some modifications, the carb was on a
level, possibly slightly lower than the fuel tank centre, and at idle or
when stopped there would be fuel dripping from the carb.

I can only seem to get postings back to 2nd June, anyone got this?

While waitng for my DSC lead to arrive (JR X-378), I need to make up a

I am new to the model flying game and have managed to put two small holes
(ie about a 1/4 of the size of little finger nail) in the film on the tail
of my plane, whats a good way to fix it? heat attach small pieces of film

I've read that LiPo cells must not be discharged below 3.6 volts. Does this
refer to the open circuit voltage or the volts while supplying the load. Do
the cells recover if they are recharged in a matter of minutes or is their
demise immediate?
