| Multiplex TX / PC Data Lead | 29 Jun 2004 23:39 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone know the pinouts for the Multiplex data lead? I've tried to buy one but no one has them in stock and £29 for a lead with two plugs seems a bit steep when I have lots of old PC serial leads that could be adapted!

| Cowling question - enclosing carb to protect from debris and dew | 29 Jun 2004 19:30 GMT | 2 |
I have a Great Planes Super Sportster 40 MKII that runs in rough fields. The carb often sucks in wet grass, dirt and bug parts. I have tried to use a filter, but it doesnt fit well and gets clogged enough to affect the engine.

| Tower Hobbies $600 Goof | 29 Jun 2004 17:57 GMT | 23 |
A friend was surfing Tower a last week and saw the O.S. .91 four stroke, fuel injected, listed for $1.69! He knew it had to be a mistake (a $600 plus engine), but he tried clicking on it anyway. It went into his cart at the same price, so he checked out with it...and

I've posted here a few times already in reagards to the powered glider (OK Models Caloway) that I'm still building. My final, and largest, obstacle in the whole assembly process has now become how to cram everything into the fuselage. I realize this is a

I've been flying glow RC Planes for about 6 years, got out of the hobby for 2 yeas, and now after getting back my AMA card I'm taking a serious look at the electrics (just to do something different). My question currently is about how to select the appropriate electric motor for ...

| storing lipos | 29 Jun 2004 02:14 GMT | 9 |
As I read and reserch lipos, I'm finding that it seems many folks are having trouble with packs that are just sitting there. Apparently leaving a lipo in a hot car can start a fire. A lipo that has been in a crash can later burst into flames. It's odd..Why? Because I leave my cell ...

Yesterday I noticed that my right aileron had stopped going up. It would go down normally but when I gave it right stick it would stop at center. The left one (ch 6-flaperon config) still worked fine. It turned out that the ch 1 right going end point on my new 7CH had somehow ...

I have a Futaba FP-R127DF Receiver. It's a 7 channel, FM, Dual conversion. It normally is used with a gas plane and uses a 4.8v or 6v battery to power it. I want to know if I can use this in an electric plane that runs off an 8.4v battery through an electronic
