aero-domains for aircraft models28 Jun 2004 15:14 GMT1
It is not well known, that also aircraft models fans can get
aero-domains. If they have an own website or send a document like the
member card of a club, they can get a domain name at .aero and at the
official subdomain modelling.aero, which has been established by SITA.
Interesting dilemma C. O. Jones faces28 Jun 2004 02:36 GMT20
Interesting dilemma C. O. Jones faces. Wants to be noticed, wants to be
somebody, yet he is nobody with a valid address, no background, no
verifiable contribution to modeling, no evidence that he is anything more
than a guy with lots of time on his hands with an agenda the escapes
CH ignition28 Jun 2004 01:47 GMT1
I'm considering adapting a CH ignition to an engine they don't make a kit
for to replace the engine's stock magneto ignition.  Does anyone know if the
CH hall effect pulse switch can be used with the engine's stock flywheel and
magnet rather than installing a custom hub for the ...
Tacho signal on new Vlach ignition  (EZM1TI) for MVVS 160/21527 Jun 2004 22:21 GMT1
Does anyone have the description of the tachymeter info output by the
NEW (square box, using TWO magnet pick-ups) electronic ignition?
It is said to be present on the 3rd wire of the servo-like connector
that provides power to the box.
Spoked Wheels27 Jun 2004 18:32 GMT2
I am looking for 2 3/4" spoked wheels with metal (aluminum?) rim and
hub. - Preferably assembled.  I am building a scale model of the Easy
Riser ultralight that I flew in the earle 1980s.  Any assistance
greatly appreciated.
Starters,Sullivan/Hobbico27 Jun 2004 18:18 GMT12
My Sullivan starter I've had for twelve years finally bit the dust when
it fell off the starter table at the field.Messed up something inside.
It was a great starter with a lot of torque. You didn't grab the hub
when it was running. It'd twist your fingers.

I'm building my own version of a Slowstick and I need to know the mounting
angle of the wing. (Taking the aluminum tube as the zero degree referencial
line)

G-38 prop?27 Jun 2004 15:33 GMT4
Will a G-38 turn a 20-8  Zinger prop?  What kind of rpm should I be looking for
if it can?  I've been told that the G-38 can turn a 20" prop but now I see it
is outside of the specs (18 ") for the engine.   What prop are you using?

SuperTiger G51 Ringed Engine- Opinions?27 Jun 2004 03:27 GMT4

another one- sigh).
I have never used a SuperTiger before.
Not quite out of the hobby...27 Jun 2004 02:15 GMT9
I was selling all of my R/C hobby stuff quite happily, until it came time to
put up or shut up with my Great Planes Fun One (built and flyiing) and a
Global Ultimate Biplane ARF. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had
already decided to keep my R/C rigs, since they are growing ...

I have an airframe I am about ready to retire that has flown well on a
Saito 1.20.  I was wondering what planes any of you guys have been
