My plane flipped over and the prop hit the ground staying a few seconds locked with 1/2 throttle. When I finally releases the prop, noticed the speed control had burnt out! Shouldnt the speed contls come with any sort of protection to avoid?

I'm just finishing up assembly of an Ultra Stick 60. I'm using an OS 61FX and(Probably temporary) and seem to be way nose heavy. I located the battery just forward of the vertical fin but find I need more weight. The instruction book says to locate the engine thrust washer

A pal has just obtained a near mint OS60RF engine, the pumped one. Trouble is it has no manifold or muffler. He's just looking for the manifold this time as he plans on using a pitts style muffler with a flexible joint from the manifold.
