| Lack of wind for trainer | 20 Jul 2004 22:57 GMT | 15 |
At the moment, I can take off and fly around generally okay but my landings are a bit of a problem. Is it better to have some wind than none at all. My feeling is yes as it would give me better stability. Am I correct in saying this about the stability or am I talking crap?

| disturbance on channel 51 | 20 Jul 2004 05:45 GMT | 15 |
I have a Alpha 21 glider (only 2 servo's) with electro motor speed 600. I used it frequently with my own transmitter on channel 42 (40 Mhz) without problems. I replaced the christal with a channel 51 one in order to fly with my son's transmitter (royal EVO 9). The plane has now ...

| Newbie Spectra question | 19 Jul 2004 20:47 GMT | 4 |
A quick, I hope, question. I'm just beginning and I am curious about the Spectra module from Hitec. I understand that you can set the transmiter to your choice of frequency, but that you must have a crystal for your receiver to match that frequency. But is it common, or even legal, ...

| A general good idea for most | 19 Jul 2004 14:17 GMT | 3 |
After reading a many posts about " junk engines" - " glow plugs" - " transition problems" and many more I feel the best first thing to learn is how to set up YOUR engine, carburetor, and proper size prop. In order to learn to be a good pilot one must have an engine that will run ...
