New battery questions.15 Jul 2004 15:14 GMT12
For the last several years I, and many others, have used the trickle charge
system described by Red Scholefield with great success and little effort.
Batteries seemed to last a very long time and maintained a good capacity.
However, recently several incidents in the local area have ...
Onboard Camera Question15 Jul 2004 14:59 GMT3
I'm looking at attaching a small camera to my plane, its wireless with
around 1000ft range. Is there any legal problem using this, I seem to
remember someone telling me that it was a bit dodgy.
Cheers
Ridge Soaring, S, S/W of London15 Jul 2004 12:13 GMT8
After getting my Twinstar to soar in a 5mph wind on Chobham common (a
mere earth mound), I would like to find out about more sites within
fairly easy traveling distince of Surrey/London and the M25.

Oh, oh. Li Poly overcharged?15 Jul 2004 11:41 GMT21
I was charging my 3S 1500 mAh, 11.1 V Kokam battery and had to leave.

should have been 12.60 V or so. It also checked out the same with a
volt meter. I should mention that it was unintentionally charged at
A Hello...15 Jul 2004 03:59 GMT8
I saw this group through a moderated website (eZonemag) and thought I'd
look into the unmoderated forum... Not much different - filtering of the
p*rn spam is about all... I'm a converted sparky flyer... Started nitro
many years ago... Have been doing aerial photography with RC ...
Injury, again...15 Jul 2004 01:10 GMT25
A long time r/c'er in our club was injured today while holding a glow
powered glider and reaching under the spinning propeller for his radio. He
did not have the radio beside him, but leaning against his field box, with
the plane between himself and the radio. He lost a chunk of ...

Flying at Bexhill14 Jul 2004 09:00 GMT1
Could anyone tell me if members of any model club fly just off the A259 near
the "Lamb Inn" just outside of Bexhill, on the way to Eastbourne.   I am new
to this area, and would like to join a club near this area.
       Many thanks,  Dave from Bexhill.

Bad to better13 Jul 2004 13:22 GMT1
Here I am fresh back from holiday and thumbs all rusty and seized up.
A glider and a zagi charged up yesterday in anticipation of the promised
15mph N.W  wind today.
A couple of sarnies and a drink shoved in the flight bag and off to the
Tail Moment / Watts and thrust13 Jul 2004 09:53 GMT2
My first question: I here some "planes have a longer tail moment".
What does this mean???
Second question: I did some calaculations using  Diversity Model
