Li-Po26 Aug 2004 15:55 GMT54
It seems I've killed my first Kokam Li-po?  I flew yesterday, my Wattage
Ultimate with a Cobalt 400 using a Kokam 7.4 volt 2000Ma battery pack.
Anyway, I only flew one 6 minute flight, normal for this setup and all was
well.  I got home and tried to charge the battery.  No luck, my ...
First nitro plane; Cub or Telemaster?26 Aug 2004 15:53 GMT9
I am on the verge of buying my first gas-powered airplane and am torn
between the above two from Hobby Lobby.  They both have six foot
wingspans and are ARFS.  I really like the telemaster better, but can
anybody tell me why such similer planes have very different prices?
Sig ultimate fun-fly26 Aug 2004 02:32 GMT1
I picked up one of these kits and it doesn't have the instruction manual.
Hope that's all that's missing.  Would anyone have a manual they could send
me?  I tried Sigs site, but couldn't access it.  Thanks.

AMA Dist. V column in October MA 25 Aug 2004 02:11 GMT1
I just read Judith Dunlap's Dist. V report.  Hadn't she better wait until she's
actually ELECTED to a full-term office before putting any changes into motion?
Of course, almost anything would be an improvement.  Hmmm...no plane pictures
this month, but plenty of "Club of the Month" ...

Club Fees24 Aug 2004 16:13 GMT9
The old perennial I know but it does get everyone going and off on umpteen
tangents but here goes. The fee for adult membership at my club is just
£23.00 plus insurance. The club chairman was thinking this was a fair
average as we don't have any overheads, ie renting the strip, but ...
Synchronizing engines on a twin24 Aug 2004 13:46 GMT15
Does anyone knows if it exist a system to synchronize the two engines of a
twin (like a p38).
It must not be Master/Slave based because, the slave may fail, and the
master will not idle in this case.
MpJet mounting in Rascal24 Aug 2004 09:37 GMT3
I have an Mpjet brushless I'm going to mount in Sig Rascal. I purchased
clam type mount for speed400 and it fits rascal great, but it is too big
to hold the mpjet (diameter about 1/16" greater than the motor). What
can I do to make it fit? Can you suggest a lightweight solution that
