| first slinger flight, lot of fun. | 21 Aug 2004 19:25 GMT | 9 |
I just got back from the first flight of the electric Slinger. First time I've flown anything in 15 years. It was exciting enough, with 20 mph wind gusts to contend with. I managed to land it in a tree, but it survived without noticable deterioration.

Just bought a second hand Field Force 7 outfit and have a question on range testing it. I have a Futaba 6EXA outfit which has the aerial fixed in place with a short stub out of the transmitter. This does a ground range test fine with the aerial down as far as it will go.
