| Joining wings | 16 Aug 2004 22:21 GMT | 4 |
I am a newish scratch builder and would like to know how I could join a split main wing at the fuselage (low & high wing) for 40 to 60 sized aircraft. The split main wing concept is necessitated due to transport limitations.

| CyA Hinges Failing? | 16 Aug 2004 14:20 GMT | 32 |
I just found that several of my CyA type aileron hinges have failed. The hinges did not pull free; they actually split in two across the hinge line. The ailerons were set with a 1/32" gap and were fully gap sealed. Each aileron has its own servo, and each pushrod was only 4" long ...

| Missing Covering Iron Knob | 16 Aug 2004 05:51 GMT | 5 |
I am just getting back into R/C. A week ago, after twenty years, I pulled out my Top Flite covering iron and the knob is missing. Right now I am using a large, long shafted screwdriver that makes it hard making small adjustments to get accurate Coverite thermometer readings.

| Identity of old airplane | 15 Aug 2004 07:29 GMT | 23 |
I'm looking for plans or a kit to build a model of the plane I first flew in. Back in the late '40's I took my first airplane ride in a fabric covered tail dragger. It was two place, tandem seating, hand propped, no electrical, stick and rudder and was a blast to fly even at 65 mph ...
