One of my planes went in on take off yesterday and I am racking my brains to
arrive at a logical explanation for it.
Setup is (was) Ultimate 120 flown many times no probs, Saito 120, Futaba
9ZAP Tx, Futaba R149DP Rx with DC xTal, Fail Safe set, with Throttle to

Does anyone know of any clubs in the Blackpool and Fylde area's of Lancashire
who are taking on new members. ?
My local flying club http://www.blackpoolmodelflyers.org.uk/ who fly at Weeton
are unfortunately  not enrolling any new members at present, although I am told

hope to start flying again after a 3 year lay off, and the fields i can use
are a bit rough, does anyone have any sugestions as to rigging up some sort

fighter Arsenal VG33/39?  I especially need the cross sections, which are
not shown on the few ( and crude ) drawings I have been able to find so far.

Does anybody know of a company that makes a motor mount for the AXI type
motor to fit on the wooden mount that comes out of the front of most GWS
type planes?  I have a mount for my Himax motor that is made by Himax and
need one for an AXI motor...

Question to anyone having fitted a Zenoah 45 or similar.
As you will know, the axis of the throttle lever is at an compound angle to
the normal push pull lines we are used to.
I can't seem to come up with a well engineered solution of connecting to the

Need to run around a 1/4 scale Extra Canopy with some tape to seal around
the edges, never seems to be enough Canopy to secure well with screws alone.
Used 1/2" wide gaffer tape in the past with reasonable success but anyone
found anything better?

I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to where I might be able to buy
lengths of 3-4mm inner diameter, 5-6mm outer diameter rigid plastic tubing
online within the UK as I've been having some difficulty locating any?
