park flyer on a budget12 Sep 2004 04:37 GMT15
I crashed my glow plane last summer and was planning on getting a new one
this year.   I just had my first son (yay!) so there is $$$ in the budget
(boo!).   I figured I would be able to get a park flyer cheaply but was
shocked to find out that an electric ARF with all trimmings ...
Weston Magnum question12 Sep 2004 00:12 GMT4
My son has just bought one of these (not the Magnum-R) second hand and
I have a question for you all! It came with no engine but it did have
the mount still in place. The front is complete with just a hole/slot
at the top for the engine to drop into. How do you fix it to the mount
Manual for JP Easy Pigeon glider?11 Sep 2004 21:37 GMT4
Does anyone know where on the web I might find a copy of the manual for the JP
Easy Pigeon glider.   Just purchased one which was hanging up in my local shop
but unfortunately no manual, being new to the hobby... the manual might be
useful.  I've done a search with google but ...

I have been sent these tragic video's by other modellers so I am not sure
who took them.
Both clearly show the model dive uncontrollably into the ground.

3 mile rule11 Sep 2004 03:46 GMT25
I have an honest question about this rule:
Whose supposed to make sure that clubs dont exist closer  than the 3
mile limit? AMA??, local hobby shops?  Does the  AMA  send out a warning
to the clubs in question when they are closer than 3 miles. How am I

prop pitch V diameter10 Sep 2004 10:03 GMT16
Now when I was into this aeroflying thing big style, a good few years back,
I remember being able to advise on pitch V diameter, but the old memory
cells have gone the way of the carbon zinc battery - dying!! In simple terms
( not complicated aerodynamics and physics please) does a ...

First Build10 Sep 2004 03:23 GMT14
Wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good first plane to build.
I am a novice to the hobby, began earlier this year and since then, my
brother and father have caught the 'bug'.  My Brother is learning to fly
but my Father wants to build.  He is good with carpentry.  He ...
Seagull Spacewalker II Artf09 Sep 2004 22:44 GMT3
I've been flying my Seagull Arising Star for a while now, what a good plane!
I want to move on a bit and I like the looks of the Seagull Spacewalker II
ARTF.  (I've got an 18-month son running around the house so I don't have
time to build a kit I'm afraid.  Besides he'd probably ...
To my friends....09 Sep 2004 20:34 GMT31
Well, apparentyly I made it through TWO major (high dollar) hurricanes
in the last three weeks.  Must not have made the National news as I did
not hear from any of my friends.  Not to worry, all is well.  I do sort
of feel like that third little pig though, you know, the one in ...
