Micro Z-72 antenna30 Oct 2004 04:43 GMT6
Anyone tried a micro z-72 antenna on their GWS (or other) receiver?
They claim better range than the stock antenna.  I'm looking for a
shorter antenna w/o sacrificing range.

Don't ask.  Pilot error.  The crash looked remarkably similar to that

Air scoops, where can I get them? 29 Oct 2004 20:05 GMT8
Have a cowl that is not quite wide enough for a twin cylinder engine, the
spark plugs will stick out about 3/8 inches on each side and would like to
find some streamlined "bubbles/air scoops" that I could put over the holes
to make it look clean, any idea where I can find some?  Any ...

Turbulators28 Oct 2004 11:33 GMT4
Do the turbulators on a full size aircraft make the air flow break away
during slow speeds thus making the inner wing stall at the same time as the
tip?
Would a model aircraft prone to tip stalling benefit from turbulators?
A different prop question...27 Oct 2004 23:50 GMT2
Can anyone tell me why APC electric props have such a wide chord and
reduced thickness cf the sport type props in the range ?  Is there any
reason to avoid the sport props for electric use ?  (I know they don't
recommend the E-props on ic engines).
