For the first time ever I bought an aluminium spinner (JP 64 mm diameter
type).  This is the sort that has an adaptor that screws onto the prop
shaft and then the spinner is retained by a bolt that screws into the

My OS 60 FP consumes 12oz of fuel in 6 minutes.
It is delivering great perfomance and swings an APC 11x7 at 12200 with
10% Nitro.

O.K I have strayed badly from the only true path (gliders) and am in the
process of building my first model complete with.... wheels !
Now then try as I might I can't find any tube or rod that is a
perfect fit in the wheel hubs. Closest I can get is a brass tube that

The spec on my ics-100 speed control says the max input voltage is
9.6v.  If I use my 11.1v 3-cell lipo on this speed controller will it
damage it?  Just wondering about these "max" specs as the speed 280
motor I'm running with my lipo is rated at 6v but seems to be happy.

I'm hoping to start scratch building this winter.  My local hobby shop
doesn't carry any balsa wood that I could find, so I'm going to be having
to mail order.  Who would be the best supplier?  Balsa USA? Lone Star?
Superior?  Or the Midwest Balsa from Tower Hobbies?

Just got a HiMax brushless with a APC slo flyer collet prop adapter and
several different props.  How in the *&^%$# do you tighten the adapter on
the shaft???  What are the alternatives that'll go on a 3mm shaft?  Only
other model I've built is a World Models J-3 with stock Speed ...

What's the best way of fuelproofing (glow fuel) cellulose dope ?
Will water based acrylic varnish go on over cellulose dope ?
Just seen, in an article, mention of a guy who tissue and dope covered a
model and then covered it with nylon. The nylon was stuck on with
