| R/C Aircraft Carrier in Minnesota... | 17 Oct 2004 07:08 GMT | 7 |
I thought you might be interesting in seeing what is thought to be the only operational R/C Aircraft Carrier in the world. This is a news story done by a local station here in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area a few days ago about a couple of guys in my club. Good story, but the

| midwest hots II 40 size. | 16 Oct 2004 14:08 GMT | 5 |
Two years ago, I was given a midwest hots II 40 size... It is a great flying little plane and flew very nice. Last year, it seemed to fly a bit tail heavy. When I hold it under the main spar, the tail drops. I have to move my finger tips about 1/2 inch to the rear.

| Is there a demand for plane kits? | 16 Oct 2004 13:49 GMT | 28 |
Hi, I was just wondering if there is a place you can post to sell plane kits and accessories? My dad had purchased kits upon kits and motors and whatever else goes with them, years ago planning on building them when he retired. Well as luck would have it he is

| .5 Amps over 1C, charging Li Poly bad? | 16 Oct 2004 05:34 GMT | 21 |
I have been using a Triton charger for a little over a year, and charged my 3S3P Kokam packs at 2.5 Amps (maximum on this charger for Li Poly). I usually got 12.60V when fully charged. But it took 2:10 hours if the battery was discharged on flight.

| Covering the stab/fin fillet on a scale Cub | 15 Oct 2004 22:08 GMT | 3 |
I recall one of the model mags, possibly MAN, running an article several years back that showed how to cover a stab/fin fillet WITHOUT using a filler block. The model shown as the example was, I think, a Sig 4*40... The covering formed a natural fillet, as is done on a fullscale ...

| Fiberglass molds/fuselages | 15 Oct 2004 21:30 GMT | 1 |
I'm looking to make some fiberglass fulelages, but I'm concerned about using toxic substances to do so. While searching the web I came across a water based resin system (www.rllucas.com/index.html) called Aqua resin. Anybody had any experience with this? Or alternatively, do you

| Tx cases? | 15 Oct 2004 16:05 GMT | 11 |
Recently I've seen several people at my flying field who were using Doskocil gun cases to transport their transmitters, but I failed to get the model or size. I'm looking for a plastic case that will fit two radios.

| Twins | 15 Oct 2004 03:15 GMT | 2 |
I recently bought a Sig Clipped wing cub (1/4 scale) with a Magnum 160 twin four stroke. This is my first twin and I can''t get it to idle without an onboard glow driver. Is this pretty common for twin engines. Also is a fuel pump necessary?

| looking for Radio Modeller Dec 1975 | 14 Oct 2004 19:25 GMT | 4 |
this is a very long shot, but has any sad collector out there got a copy of the Radio Modeller Dec 1975? I would love a copy of the pages describing the building of the Pecker III which featured in that issue.
