| siezed up engine...any advice? | 27 Nov 2004 22:56 GMT | 7 |
I have an old (like 15+ years old) OS-40. It hasn't been used in years - was part of a load of stuff my grandfather gave me and he gave up flying 15 years ago! The engine looks fine, but it is totally seized (as were several others!)

| Newbie Questions... | 27 Nov 2004 15:02 GMT | 4 |
I have been keeping an eye on this group for sometime and find this all so very interesting. I met an individual at College last year who had an R/C Plane and was a member of a club in his area. I have an interest in building and flying R/C Planes but I really have no

OK this is a bit off topic for an aviation group but I am hoping the radio experts can help. Having accumulated 15 slope soarers ( I don't seem to crash as often as I did) I wanted to build something different for a change and ended up with r/c boats. ( I am one of those ...

| Battery charging rate?? | 25 Nov 2004 20:48 GMT | 8 |
Ok, so I've got my new battery charger. I can charge NiCads, LiPolys, etc. I can even set the charging rate (0-2 amps). How do I know how high a charging rate I should use? Can I make some calculations based on capacity and number of cells in the pack? For example, I have a ...
