My dad is inside for the winter and he loves to rebuild wrecked airplanes.
I would be glad to purchase or pay for shipping if you can help me.  Thanks,

siezed up engine...any advice?27 Nov 2004 22:56 GMT7
I have an old (like 15+ years old) OS-40.  It hasn't been used in
years - was part of a load of stuff my grandfather gave me and
he gave up flying 15 years ago!
The engine looks fine, but it is totally seized (as were several others!)
STUPID AMERICANS27 Nov 2004 21:47 GMT6
This is supposed to be a newsgroup for model aircraft.  Tell Procter to get the
hell off or just ignore him from now on.
Enough time has been wasted on this crap.
Newbie Questions...27 Nov 2004 15:02 GMT4
I have been keeping an eye on this group for sometime and find this
all so very interesting.  I met an individual at College last year who
had an R/C Plane and was a member of a club in his area.  I have an
interest in building and flying R/C Planes but I really have no
How to fuel a lazy bee27 Nov 2004 12:21 GMT3
I happen to have a lazy bee, but cant figure out how to fuel it, what
fuel to use, and how to get it up and flying. It seems to be a very
standard model, although I have no idea what model it actually is,
(since it's been handed down to me, without any instructions

Megatech Helichopper   27 Nov 2004 04:16 GMT4
This is my experience with a Megatech Helichopper.
The unit was purchased Nov 20. I took the unit home and charged the
batteries according to the instructions. The instructions said to charge the
batteries and then run the helicopter while hoding it to discharge the
Breaking in a Thunder Pro 4626 Nov 2004 19:52 GMT4
The break in procedure in the manual isn't very specific.  Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,

Aerial Legth26 Nov 2004 19:32 GMT13
OK this is a bit off topic for an aviation group but I am hoping the radio
experts can help. Having accumulated 15 slope soarers ( I don't seem to
crash as often as I did) I wanted to build something different for a change
and ended up with r/c boats. ( I am one of those ...

AGM's25 Nov 2004 22:49 GMT18
We held our club's Annual General Meeting just recently and I noticed a
strange atmosphere come over the meeting when it came round to electing new
officers for the committee.  When the Chairperson asked, "Is there anyone
willing to put their name forward for a position on the ...
Battery charging rate??25 Nov 2004 20:48 GMT8
Ok, so I've got my new battery charger.  I can charge NiCads, LiPolys, etc.
I can even set the charging rate (0-2 amps).  How do I know how high a charging
rate I should use?  Can I make some calculations based on capacity and number
of cells in the pack?  For example, I have a ...
