Flying-Model Simulator and Firebird Outlaw. First, thanks to the programmers. I think FMS will be very helpful. Which of these models would best resemble the Firebird outlaw? Or is there a third-party file I can go get/download?

| Best way to permanently connect 2 control rods together? | 31 Dec 2004 15:01 GMT | 6 |
I'm getting ready to install some control linkages, and according to the plan it looks like two of the control rods need to be permanently connected to each other. I'm assuming that soldering (propane torch and high-quality solder) is the best way of connecting them. Is there a

| Saito's using 30% nitro | 31 Dec 2004 14:47 GMT | 1 |
My 91 Saito loves it. My 100 Saito runs hot on it and runs best on 15%. My Saito 180 Blew Up on it. I think it all depends on the individual engine.

To all: I've recently un-earthed a Babcock RC Transmitter. It's model BCT-2. Can anyone link me to a website that might have information on this unit? Search engines don't have any info on it that I can find. Also, I don't think I'll have much use for it. Can

| Crimp Tool | 30 Dec 2004 23:41 GMT | 3 |
Anyone know where I can get a crimp tool for servo connectors. The only one I have seen is at Al's Hobbies but this is sold as a set with a load of connectors and I just want the crimp tool itself. Are any that are sold by Maplin or Farnell suitable?

| Correct Length for Aerial | 30 Dec 2004 21:24 GMT | 3 |
I have a Futaba 138 Dual Conversion receiver that my cat chewed the aerial off. What is the correct length for the replacement aerial? As I don't know what happens inside the rx it might be better if someone could just give me a direct measurement from one of their own rx rather ...

| Setting Timing on a Saito | 29 Dec 2004 19:35 GMT | 1 |
I replaced a main bearing in my Saito 56 and would like to know if there is an easy way to set the timing gear and be sure the timing is correct? The timing gear has a mark on it but once you lower it into place it's hard to tell if it mated up to the crank properly. My engines ...

| Robart thingy 2 | 29 Dec 2004 18:55 GMT | 4 |
Guys, Forgot to mention that it is part of the fuel system. The person I bought it from (2nd hand & cheap) stated that it is some or other fuel pump. To me, it looks just like a T-piece with a knurled nut at the T-section in the middle.
