Effective clean up?09 Dec 2004 13:19 GMT4
Any one have an effective way of cleaning up nicely burnt on fuel from an
engine casing or manifold.  I suspect that anything that will work will

I have seen this answered recently (last two months) but alas ...
FMA M5 vs Berg Stamp 209 Dec 2004 00:49 GMT8
I can get a FMA M5 with crystal for $14 cheaper than a berg stamp with no
crystal. I really don't think that a few grams will make a big difference to
my plane so that's not a concern.
Are the FMA's as good as the berg receivers?

Anyone know of a source for a pull-pull pulley wheel for Hitec servos?  I

Anyone on the group running a smoke system?
Thinking of adding one to a Zenoah 45 and wonder which types might be in use
and what the smoke results were like.

I'm returning to the hobby after a long layoff.  I used to fly ic

FMS vs. Real Flight G2 and Extreme07 Dec 2004 23:30 GMT4
Just wondering how FMS compares to Real Flight and Extreme.  I just

FMS.. did I waste my $$?

Not been paying much attention to the electric scene for the last 18

What the current state of play of NiMh versus NiCd in electric flight as
far as raw power is concerned, do NiCd still have the edge (i.e. lower

Loss of field07 Dec 2004 01:56 GMT8
There was a series of posts recently I admit to dragging it all round
the houses 'cos I was bored   >:-)    Topic was potential loss of
flying facilities due to crashes by LARGE models reflecting badly on
the rest of the hobby, fears brought about I think by the B52 crash.
Great Planes F 15 Eagle...ribs07 Dec 2004 00:05 GMT4

I can reasonably guess that rib 1 is the center.  If rib 3 is at the edge of
