Test flight of giant AT-631 Jan 2005 23:31 GMT5
One of our club members test flew a giant AT-6 today at the Rockwall club
field.  I'm not sure who made the kit.  It's a fiberglass fuselage.  Power
is a G-62, weight around 30 pounds, wing loading around 50 ounces.  The file
is 13-14 mb so it takes a while to download if you do not ...
Worth buying from U.S???31 Jan 2005 23:21 GMT44
I am thinking of buying some LiPo batteries from CheapBatteryPacks.com.
Mainly because they are fitted with cell taps for their charge guards, but
also because they are a lot cheaper than UK available batteries even after
adding VAT.

Tygon fuel lines?30 Jan 2005 20:08 GMT2
Does anyone know if the pale yellow fuel line ( Tygon) used for gasoline
engines will chemically "melt" if it is in long term contact with other
plastics?  I need to run some fuel lines in a confined space and would like
to run them through a rigid plastic sheath to prevent them ...
AMA-how to join.30 Jan 2005 19:11 GMT13
I have to join the AMA in order to use our local field.  I've been
flying gliders out in the boonies for years so this insurance thing is
sort of weird to me.  Anyway, how do I join the AMA?  How much are the
dues?  Please excuse this "nitro newbie" question and thanks.  Dan
