| Sealing covering | 28 Jan 2005 23:42 GMT | 3 |
On these ARF planes that are out now the covering jobs seem to be very poor quality on a lot of them...what has anybody tried to use to maybe seal the edges. I have been trying polyurethane but it seems to dull the look of the plane. I tried fingernail polish hardener but it kinda ...

| Alternatives to the Weston Freestyle Groove ? | 28 Jan 2005 23:23 GMT | 4 |
I've just written off my ARC Jupiter and I'm looking for a replacement to take the bits that survived. These include an Irvine 53 but not the silencer. I have a tuned "purple" pipe that I was going to fit into the Jupiter and I thought that the Weston Groove would be a perfect ...

| balancing folding props | 28 Jan 2005 21:18 GMT | 2 |
I have a graupner 9X6 folder, with a neat aluminium spinner and back plate assembly. The spinner has a hole in the front which aids airflow through the hub assembly and through on into the nose vent holes. I think the spinner is from the Czech republic ( mega).

Hobby lobby had mini parachutist but they discontinued it. Anyone know where to get one? As the plane is flying another controller would make the parachutist expell from the plane and glide it home. Thank you

| Standard Servo on ailerons? | 27 Jan 2005 13:34 GMT | 13 |
Hello again everybody. I've finally found something that I don't really like about the Great Planes Ultimate (.40 size) that I'm building. The ailerons are controlled by a single standard servo. Is there a chance that the loading is too much for a Futaba 3004? I'm a

| New design, looking for feedback... | 26 Jan 2005 21:19 GMT | 10 |
This design is for introducing children to construction and flying of rubber powered planes. I figure that its as simple as it can be to build yet it performs VERY WELL. http://www.rubber-power.com/h/rp/squirrelsheet.pdf
