| 2000 mah Nimh batteries at Odd Lotts | 20 Jan 2005 15:24 GMT | 4 |
My brother saw some Digital Concept 2000 mah Nimh batteries at Odd Lotts. They are 5.99 for 4 AA. Would it be silly to use these to make receiver or transmitter packs? Or should we just go buy some good name brand battery packs? Anyone tried this or have any experience with these ...

| R/C Airplane with the most payload capacity | 20 Jan 2005 00:50 GMT | 40 |
I'm planning on getting an R/C airplane to experiment with sensors and video cameras, etc.. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a .60 size airplane with great payload handling capabilities, and what a realistic upper limit on payload capacity might be (1lb? 5lbs? 10lbs?). I don't

| Incidence | 20 Jan 2005 00:07 GMT | 9 |
Lets see if I have this right.. A plane has +3 incidence. That means the horizontal stab is level and the main wing is cocked up by 3 degrees at its leading edge when compared to the horizontal stab and the centre line of the fuselage ?

| Deans pins | 19 Jan 2005 23:33 GMT | 2 |
I use the three prong deans connectors to do all sorts of things. I am getting tired of paying through the nose for them. Anyone have a way to get them cheaper? Once I looked into bulk purchase, but I have forgotten why I didn't do it.

| Anyone got a copy of Aeromodeller magazine for June 1973 ? | 19 Jan 2005 22:34 GMT | 7 |
If so then I'm trying to find out the flying weight of the "Oini" that was the free plan and build article. Also if that kind person felt up to scanning the build article for me that'd be an amazingly great favour as well (I already have a copy of the plan so don't need that).

Anyone flying one of these SPAD RC's? I found the SPAD Website and was wondering if any SPAD flyers were on this newsgroup and how the planes fly compared to balsa kits. I may attempt one... Thanks,

Just had a longer look at the model santa got me for xmas. Fuz is reasonably well made, wings and tail are nice balsa covered things. Cowl is to suit vertical engine (gotta be a new Laser then, ho hum ;')). There are hardwood blocks for the u/c legs but optional retract ...

| Which multi cyl engine?? | 18 Jan 2005 18:31 GMT | 4 |
I know Lasers are the doggs doodahs, and I would not regret buying a laser V twin...but are there any other good, reliable twin engines out there that are cheaper than a laser? Or better? Though I doubt that. Any experiences anyone?

I am trying to find out if if it is safe/legal? to use my UK 35Mhz equipment in the Philippines. The only info I have received so far is 'use anything that nobody else is using', probably true but not very safe. The only club with a web site is the Manila Aeromodelers Club, but ...
