I need someone to write some articles about r/c cars...15 Jan 2005 14:45 GMT12
airplanes and helicopters. I need three articles of 1,000 words each. I
will pay for these articles. I need them by no later than Sunday
morning this week. I know this is a fast turnaround, but if you can
help, I would really appreciate it.

What magazines are out there that cover RC airplanes now?  My interest is
exclusively electric if that makes a difference.

CAD models of RC servomotors and accessories14 Jan 2005 16:56 GMT3
Can anyone direct me to accurate, fairly detailed CAD models for RC
servomotors and accessories, like horns and such? I prefer 3D formats
(IGES, SolidWorks, STEP, etc.), but DXF is fine, also.
With everything people are doing with these components, I'm surprised

how do flaperons work?14 Jan 2005 06:04 GMT10
I recently bought a used Cub and the person who built it used one servo for
each aileron (instead of a single servo for both like the instructions said).
He wired them both together so that they run off the same channel on the
receiver.  He said he did this to make the plane more ...

A-10 Nacelles/Cowls13 Jan 2005 08:24 GMT2
I'm in the middle of building an A-10 from MAN plans (plan #FSP 08922).
Plans call for the cowls to be made out of two liter plastic soda bottles
plus the black plastic bases that used to come on the soda bottles. I've
searched high and low for some of the plastic bases but so ...

social commentary, performance art or smut?13 Jan 2005 06:52 GMT4
I just came across the website for a video called "hunting for bambi".
>From the looks of it, it seems to be a low-brow stab at the OLN/Playboy
genres of cable networks, but also comes across as a misogynist
celebration of gun culture. Does anybody have any insight or opinions
Minature Receivers13 Jan 2005 02:40 GMT21
I am looking to buy a lightweight receiver, and it would make sense to have
one that was full range with error detection circuitry. This seems to give a
choice in the UK of the Schulze alpha-435 and the FMA M5. Discussions in RC
Groups seem to favour Berg Receivers, these being made ...
