Second plane17 Feb 2005 02:39 GMT20
I'm ready to begin building a second plane.  I've done with a Nexstar with
the aids all taken off, and want to graducate to something more interesting.
Goldberg's Decathlon ARF .61-75 looks very interesting.  Anyone with
experience in building and flying this plane?
Blackhorse Sukhoi16 Feb 2005 19:06 GMT6
After been attracted by the unresistable price of £69.99, I now have
the pleasure of owning a Blackhorse Sukhoi. My only regret is not
taking time to do my research on it before parting with my cash. Enough
of moaning...

What's happened to this NG?16 Feb 2005 08:45 GMT61
Hi, I just wondered what happened to this NG?  Used to be a lot
of commenting, comradery, good jesting about two years ago.
Lots of talking of flying, what's good now, how it used to be,
etc.  Now it seems kind of dead.  People burnt out from the

First solo  flight.15 Feb 2005 19:53 GMT5
Well, not entirely true, I've been flying 3 channel electric gliders
for awhile.  But, this was my first nitro plane, a .60 Alpha Trainer.
I've had the plane for two months polishing, admiring, and "breaking
in" the Evolution .61 engine.  Since our rc airport is closed because

I have one of these Kyosho Stearmans powered by an RCV58 engine swinging a

All it wants to do when the power is applied is loop.
To get it flying level 15mm down elevator is required and more if the tap is

Wingo Floats14 Feb 2005 04:08 GMT4
I've flown my Wingo for a while now and my flying has progressed.  So has my
plane collection.  My Wingo is still fun to fly now and again, but I thought
I'd like to spice things up a bit.  Floats!  I noticed from the
manufacturer's website (Conzelmann) that they seem to be out of ...

Motor mount screws ??12 Feb 2005 15:51 GMT26
You know, I just went to the HS and bought a new glass filled motor mount for a
plane.  Now, all I, or anyone else that I know of uses to mount the mount to
the firewall is a 4-40 or 6-32 machine screw and blind nuts or something
similar.  As well as the motor to the mount minus the ...
