I have a friend in Bangkok on business at the moment and after Thailand he is going on to the Phillipines. He has offered to buy me an engine if I can come up with the Hobby Shops. Can anyone help? A web search has so far been fruitless.

hello. I've been wanting to start up in rc planes and just found out we have a nice field near by with a club. I've read the slow stick is a good starter plane but wanted to ask here first. Also which servos, speed controllers, etc should I get?

Somewhere else it was mentioned to add shim(s) to an engine should the fuel contain high nitro levels. What does an engine sounds like without the shim - how do I recognize that this detonation is taking place? TIA
