Re: good trainer in .60 size rtf or arf15 Apr 2005 04:17 GMT3
OK, I'm sure I need to get a trainer and I'd prefer a gas type, complete kit
so I don't have to match up the items. But I see some say you can save total
cost if you get things separate. Plane, engine, radio equipment and the
like. Also need more info on a good online source for ...

After deciding to get back into the hobby after a long time, I'm looking at
buying either a  JR 6 channel with expo for a trainer and eventually a
better follow-on plane, or, a basic 4 channel JR for just the trainer.  I'd
rather buy the 6 channel, but would like to get any ...
OS .50 SX and breaking in14 Apr 2005 20:27 GMT5
The manual that came with my 50sx is the same manual shipped with the whole
FX/AX line apparently, but since it's ringed I'm hesitant to use the same
breakin procedure of proceeding right to a rich 2-stroke after only 1 minute
at a rich 4-stroke setting. Am I right? I am thinking ...

Starter Set Advice14 Apr 2005 00:15 GMT10
I am new to RC and am looking to purchase a relatively inexpensive and
"beginner friendly" park flyer. I am also looking for a radio system
and components that will outlast the plane and that could be
transferred to another plane. I have read several good reviews on the

The sun was shining, temperature was tolerable and the wind was about
right  -  conditions that haven't been prevalent around here lately.
Time to try my refurbished Zagi. The covering was stripped off a while

New tax problems for Texas Clubs13 Apr 2005 19:55 GMT7
I have been treasurer of the San Antonio Prop Busters, Inc. for 9 years.
Each year the State of Texas sends the corporation's registered agent, which
has been the club treasurer, Franchise tax forms.  Those forms are filled

Nitromethane- carcegenic??13 Apr 2005 04:13 GMT19
Our field has banned the practice of allowing nitro fuel to be spilled on
the ground.  Some people also claim that is is not wise to get it on your
skin??  Has anyone heard of such a thing?
Slim servo needed!13 Apr 2005 02:51 GMT10
To convert to flaperons from basic single servo ailerons I'm looking for a
slim servo...... slim enough that 2 can be mounted side by side in the
center of my wing where 1 s3004 Futaba standard servo currently resides.
Anybody know of any servos that would fit this bill?

Guys help me out here.  We have wind sock at the field but  we were thinking
about putting one on the flagpole.  We have a really nice one that's prolly
25-30 feet tall.  Since we don't fly a flag all the time, what could we use for
a windsock on the flag pole?  I can't wait to hear ...
