I think this is slightly OT, but since you guys deal with battery packs all
the time I thought I'll ask here.
I'm interested in building a 4.8v battery pack for a mp3 player of mine. I
noticed a lot of RC stores sell 4.8v battery pack chargers. Most of these

Epoxy curing question09 Apr 2005 00:51 GMT6
What controls the cure time of epoxy?
If I have 15 minute epoxy and I use hardener from a 30 minute epoxy set,
what will the cure time be? Does the epoxy or the hardener control the cure?
I have both epoxy and hardener leftover from different sets with different

Electric Ducted Fan Vibration Question08 Apr 2005 08:52 GMT5
Im currently building an Alfa MiG 15, but have drilled the hole 0.25mm
too big for the fan to fit onto the motor shaft so it is now slightly
loose.
...Will the glue be strong enough to hold this on?
Online vendor recommendations?08 Apr 2005 07:16 GMT7
Who are some of the best online vendors or R/C airplanes and supplies?  I'm
thinking about getting myself a nice little trainer and just wanted to see
who everybody here recommends?  It seems that in every hobby or sport there
are a handful of really good online sources.  I'm ...

I hope somebody can help a novice.  I bought the "L'il Miss" parkflyer

However they sent me a Jeti controller for brushless motors-an anvanced

Inexpensive Cleaner07 Apr 2005 15:59 GMT4
Try rubbing alcohol bought in pints from any drug store.  I put mine in a
spray dispenser and use it to remove sticky epoxy from fingers, monocote
cleaner, glasses cleaner, etc. etc.

Li-ion07 Apr 2005 10:04 GMT66
Hang onto your wallets until next year.
Toshiba have developed a Li-ion battery that can be charged to 80%
of its full capacity in less than a minute. Full charge only takes a few
minutes longer.
wing strength inquery07 Apr 2005 00:37 GMT10
Today I had my first real flight at baylands park in sunnyvale. I crashed
the plane but it still is able to fly. The wings seemed to me that if the
plane is pulling up that the wings are almost folding under the presure. Now
that the wings have hit the ground 20 or more times the ...
