206 offset question03 May 2005 20:06 GMT1
Daughter has just changed cars from an 03 206 entice to an 03 206cc.
She has 17 inch alloys on the Entice, will they fit straight on to the
cc or is the offset different? I suspect they are the same but just
need confirmation.

I've been a desk pilot for many years (MicroSoft FlightSimulator)now and
I want to do some real flying so I bought a model, a glider, the Protech
Fuego. I've not started building it yet because there is one thing that
is confusing me.
Remounting an OS .40 needle valve assembly03 May 2005 06:55 GMT6
Hello, fellows.
A couple of days ago I purchased an OS.40 engine, and then today I
purchased a couple of motor mounts for it.  Now I have discovered that
the needle valve assembly is where one of the motor mounts will need to

Just got a Butterfly motor glider from a swap meet. I have a 25fp OS for
power. Will that be too much engine? What would a good prop to use?

FA:  CS .049 speed engine02 May 2005 17:26 GMT1
I am offering it here first in case anyone is interested in this type
engine.  It is a fairly rare engine in the US but a version of this engine
held the 1/2A proto CL record for the AMA for a number of years.
It is made in China and comes with an unique accessory:  a functioning ...

I have a TT .40 pro that has a carb with a lot of problems I cant solve
by adjusting the needles. It was owned by someone else then I got it.
The high end mix wont shut off the fuel. I check for blockage and wear
but no noticeable stuff. The low end will shut off the fuel. Could ...
Looking for plane kit02 May 2005 12:39 GMT3
My father has been retired for a while and doesn't get around much
anymore. He is looking to build a model plane kit for the pleasure of
building it - this kit will not be flown.  Although he is no engineer,
he is looking for more than a weekend project.
trying to identify a plane02 May 2005 01:03 GMT2
I need to identify three planes I have.  Is there a binary group I could
post pics to?  -  One of the planes might not be too difficult because it
has a name on it, but the other two don't.  I know nothing about this sort
of thing.
resurrected receiver01 May 2005 15:17 GMT7
Forgive me, but since religion has been a big topic I couldn't resist
titling my post the way I did.  :-)  Anyway, here's my story...
Recently, I suffered a radio failure that caused my beloved Kaos to go into
the ground at about 3/4 throttle.  I think the culprit was a solder ...
Hitec HS-55 'upgrade' on T-rex01 May 2005 13:27 GMT6
I have just installed Hitec HS-55's all round on my T-Rex after having
the Align 9g servo's installed on all but the tail.
I am extremely disapointed in the quality of the horns with the servo's.
they are very flimsy compared to the Align ones, and introduce a lot
