| Suggestions ??? | 22 May 2005 19:50 GMT | 10 |
It's been along time since I have payed any attention to RC Planes, I've only flown a couple and never have owned my own. I would like to get into it some with a gas motored plane and a decent radio so I don't have to buy new equipment down the road again.

Greetings fellow flyers - I have a trainer with a 4.8V receiver batt connected directly to the receiver. It works, but I have seen people at the flying field charging their receiver batts between flights with an external connector. What do

| Un-stoppable West V1 | 21 May 2005 20:33 GMT | 5 |
Have a West 50 in my Magnum with the irritating problem that it will not cut from the transmitter. Nowt to do with ATV's etc as the Carb barrel will rotate fully to the point that the stop screw hits on the end of the spiral slot but still it runs.

Went flying on the moor again on Sunday. Driving up the narrow access road I spotted a big white van higher up the track (yep, white van man gets everywhere !). Was it someone going up with some large gliders ?

| Crazy people | 21 May 2005 16:05 GMT | 2 |
Some people are just plain crazy..or not caring about others..for at every chance they jump up on the "Are you saved?" bandwagon and beat us all to death with it. Hopefully some or more of these types will read this and if possible (they usually dont listen) they will

| BMFA News | 21 May 2005 08:43 GMT | 9 |
Probably one of the most important events for years, concerning the vast majority of BMFA members, happened when Flair went into liquidation. I bet all of the UK pilots on this group (unless they stated the sport this month!) know of Flair and many, many had/have a Flair aircraft.

| Why do they fly? | 21 May 2005 00:26 GMT | 3 |
"They're all fire and wings -- why do they fly"? Question on a board titled "what do you want to know about airplanes" at my son's kindergarten. -------------------------------------------

| Sandown time again! | 20 May 2005 22:00 GMT | 4 |
Well folks, just a few more days until Sandown, anybody going? I know a lot of people slate it for one reason or another, but I went for the first time last year so have no prior experience of it, and I enjoyed it for what it is.
