Just bought a Moki 135 engine with the BCM silencer. tried to run it
in BUT it only seems to want to use the fuel I squirt into the carb?
Fuel pipe to carb from tank is full and it seems to pull fuel when I
cover the carb inlet but it just won't keep going! Anyone had similar

Will Mixing Different Brands of 30-Min Epoxies Work?18 May 2005 02:53 GMT16
Well, after several months, I am running out of my Devcon 30-minute
epoxy.  I still have maybe an ounce of the Part A (resin) left, but I am
out of the Part B (hardener).  A few weeks ago, I bought another brand
of 30-minute epoxy.  It carried the hobby shop's label, but it looks ...

I'm new here and just bought a 4 stroke rc plane (.90)  It has a Futaba
Conquest FP-T4NBF Transmitter.  I know the transmitter and plane are
getting power but I can't get any of the controls to work.  The
reciever is a little cramped and above a glued sction so I am hoping to

Hobby-Lobby $2.5 shipping world wide is a trap17 May 2005 18:16 GMT20
I order a little brushless motor from hobby-lobby. I confirmed with
hobby-lobby that the little brushless motor should fit in a 4x4x4 box.
According to the advertisment on the web the shipping charge should be
$2.5. Today I receive the invoice and I found that the shipping is
Holding a Model While Painting17 May 2005 15:19 GMT5
I am painting another model and once again I am struggling with holding the
various parts while I spray them.
Are there any ideas out there for something that holds a model while you
paint it?  Right now I hang the parts from wire and work around them as best

Baby Boomerang C of G question??16 May 2005 22:12 GMT6
I am putting the finishing touches to one of the last Baby Boomerang kits
(not ARTF) and I am confused about the CofG.
The instructions state 10 and 1/2 inches forward of the trailing edge but is
this with the fuel tank empty or full????
After run oil - Which one to use?16 May 2005 22:05 GMT35
I am a newbie. Once I am done flying. I make sure sure I burn all the fuel
in the engine and then use a good amount of after run oil. I find commercial
after run oil too expensive at $2+ for a few ounces.
I have been told that several alternatives can be used:
Why do sailplanes have such long narrow wings?16 May 2005 21:38 GMT33
This may be an easy one but I need some physics to explain this. All the
sailplanes I see have very long, narrow wings, not short stubby ones. I
realise surface area is one import factor and it is maximised on a
narrow wing with length but why is the wing narrow?
Advisability of simulator16 May 2005 17:53 GMT8
Total newb here. Is the way to get started with a sim, or just jump in with
a beginner's plane? I like the idea of getting used to the controls without
having to wreck anything, but do sims really prep you for the real thing?
