Is the World off its axis ?06 Aug 2005 00:46 GMT6
Can't help thinking somethings up - well we always think that on a good
day eh ? But the up I'm about to address is this new found sunny
weather you have north of the equator, as recent posts refer to.
Perhaps that's the reason you go mad for half a day playing Test
Electric prop06 Aug 2005 00:43 GMT1
I just scratch-built a plane from the remainders of a crashed
Parkflyers.com Cessna 182 and some foam board. I don't have the
original prop, because it was destroyed in the crash, so I got a Master
Airscrew 7 x 3 prop and stuck it on there. The result: the plane

Hi all, name here is Dennis and I got a small problem.
I have a Kadet 40 Trainer and I have been working on it for awhile now and I
was working on the wing and I had things setup, then things happen, I found
the wing next day on the floor... not a good feeling,, I got the wing cut ...

Saito or O.S. ?05 Aug 2005 09:53 GMT8
O.K. Gang:
Needed a 91 F/S for the Top Flite Sea Fury. Wound up with a brand new Saito
and a O.S. 91 (neither are a pumper)  I got both on E-Bay, I only meant to
bid on the OS but goofed so now I have two. So which one is preferred ?
RCM plans04 Aug 2005 17:38 GMT13
Anybody order RCM plans lately?  I've had my eye on the Golden Oldie
biplane for years but never ordered the plans.  I see that they're
running a "4 for the price of 3" sale until August 31.  I'm sure I could
find a few others to fill out the order.  The Miss Texas has always
Question about tweaking servo linkages04 Aug 2005 04:42 GMT1
Just trying to finish up this new plane.  Some of my servos (more like all
of them) seem to have too much load on them.  They tend to all make that
chattering noise at one extreme or the other (or in some cases both).  I've
tried a variety of things to make it easier so they wont ...
Soldering bananna plug tips????04 Aug 2005 02:53 GMT12
How do you solder the bananna plug tips onto accessory wires? These things
are driving me nuts! The solder won't stick to anything but the soldering
iron tip! Grrrrrr!

Free flight rubber band airplane kit for 9 year old04 Aug 2005 01:41 GMT4
Apologies in advance, as this is not quite RC specific, but it seemed
the best place.
My daughter is asking for an airplane kit for her 9th birthday that she
can build. She wants something that she can glue together. I think
Topflite DC303 Aug 2005 20:34 GMT4
Hi all - just finishing this model and trying to balance it. With everything
set as per the plans the CofG is way behind where it should be. With a
2000mAh subC receiver pack shoved right into the nose the CofG is still
about a half inch behind the recommended spot, so some lead is ...
Built up HLG Kits in the UK ?03 Aug 2005 11:44 GMT3
Are there any built up (balsa) HLG kits available in the UK ?
There seem to be quite a few available in the US, but not in the UK.
I have scratch built a Aspen Leaf, but would prefer a pre-fabricated kit
for my next model.
Good follow on for Firebird Commander in the UK03 Aug 2005 11:38 GMT4
We've bought two of these models and we are very pleased with them.  We do
seem to be ok with them now and we would like to add something else as well.
A bit more power to allow us to fly in a heavier wind and the ability to do
more than fly around in circles and do stall turns.
Scale Plans Part Duex03 Aug 2005 05:29 GMT2
