RC model for my 4 year old?29 Aug 2005 22:27 GMT5
My mother gave my son a little RC plane from WalMart (it looked kind of
like a stealth fighter).  I brought it back wanting to get one that is
better since it seemed like its flight time was minimal and I didn't
exactly think the flying wing would be the most stable.

CA Accelator Substitute29 Aug 2005 01:26 GMT12
Yesterday, in the middle of a project I ran out of CA accelerator.
Somewhere I read you could substitute a common household chemical (ammonia,
alcohol, ??) as a substitute.  What is it?
Oracover Supplier29 Aug 2005 00:46 GMT9
I am currently in the process of covering an aircraft with Monokote,
midway thru I switched to some "leftovers" for a compound curve. The
leftover was marked "Oracover" on the back side. The Oracover followed the
compound curve much better than the Monokote and I would like to ...
Boots28 Aug 2005 17:07 GMT1
Do you fly from a dairy pasture, is the outfield "rough".
Even experts occasionally have to retrieve from a  deadstick landing.
Keep your extremeties comfy, warm, clean  and dry, it all adds up to faster
reaction times when your concentration is elsewhere!

Hi All, I need some advice. I have a Goldberg Sukhoi that I would like to
unload. I have thought about selling it on ebay but I am unsure about how to
ship the thing if I sold it. How do you all pack an airplane this big? It
has a 72 inch wingspan. It is built, partially covered. ...

Propeller opinions and advice27 Aug 2005 19:32 GMT14
I wanted some opinions on composite versus wooden propellers.  Most of the
flyers in two clubs I belong to prefer composite props (particularly APC
sport props), but an engine I bought recommends wooden props instead.Wooden
propellers are more fragile than composite ...
