the mounting surface.  The screw head makes for the flair on the other side.
The rubber inserts have a front and back side.  Look in the grove and you
should see a tab.  It goes to the outside of the servo.
Different flying experience12 Aug 2005 20:18 GMT5
We took a young lad out today to a popular local common area.
Sun shining, nice steady breeze. Kite up and away. We had a brilliant

Gentlemen:
I had a great time at the field this evening and it wasn't just flying.
We have several instructors in our club and I hadn't flown with one of
them. Tonight I asked him to fly my plane and see what he thought of it.

Anyone know what's up with this magazine?  I don't subscribe but pick it up
at the newsstand once in awhile.  The last issue was for March/April with
some explanation about why they had a double issue.  I haven't seen another
issue since.  Maybe Barnes & Noble stopped distributing ...
Drill motor12 Aug 2005 00:29 GMT2
I've got a 12 v drill motor. When I hook on a propeller off of a slo-v
and power it up I get lots of thrust - this is direct drive. Can
anybody guess whether this is a terribly inefficient setup? I know
drill motors have been used for large scale airplanes using a belt

Seems like one of our most prolific and controversial posters has taken some
time off. How about some modeling discussions?
I would like to get some opinions on a rather exotic battery test device,
the Power Cube. Take a look at it and let me know what you think. Take a

Any ideas for a truck cradle?10 Aug 2005 18:51 GMT7
Good Evening.  I am wondering if someone out there has any ideas for a
model airplane cradle?  I am looking to either buy or build a cradle
that can hold two planes (separate wings and fuselages) in the back of
my open-bed pickup.  I need something that won't move around in the ...

WANTED: Hallco Black Anodized Landing Gear10 Aug 2005 18:15 GMT1
I am looking for a Hallco Landing gear. I understand this was the

The two previous landing gears I owned (and, alas sold) were Black
