wing leading edge question 17 Sep 2005 08:08 GMT22
I just completed a Sig Rascal and did not sand the leading edge of the wing.
It is not rounded and somewhat flat. Now that the plane is covered, should I
remove the covering and
sand the wing round or can I still fly?
re: Sea Fury Panel Lines17 Sep 2005 05:14 GMT1
Since sending my original post to Denis, I have just received an ad from
Traplet that features CDs with detailed walkarounds of specific aircraft,
including the Sea Fury. They refer you to www.traplet.com. Look for CD Disc

Flair Magnatilla MK II16 Sep 2005 19:44 GMT8
Always fancied one of these and would put a 52ish 4-stroke in it if I were
to get one.
Can anyone tell me what type the wing section is? - I assume flat bottomed.
Assuming it is flat bottomed how much does it impact it's flying
CCPM on a FF716 Sep 2005 11:38 GMT4
The transmitter I am using is a computer Futaba FF7 -T7UPS, which I have
used for a number of years, purely for fixed wing aircraft.
I am now considering trying TREX helicopter, with CCPM. Now whilst at the
moment I don't know what CCPM is exactly, I am told it is desirable.

argument with the ground! Carb arrived and fitted but although I can
get high end running fine, I am having problems with tickover. Looks
like this one has 2 settings? The needle valve and also a screw in the
Belt starting a helicopter15 Sep 2005 15:44 GMT1
Hi there, I've dug a very old RC helicopter out of my parent's loft, it has
never been used and I've nearly finished building it. I've got all
instructions and engine details, except how to start the thing. It seems to
be a belt start, but how exactly do I do this? how do I get ...

completely now and again before charging?

Polks Tracker 3 series13 Sep 2005 02:41 GMT4

it off to us. Worked well, had some nice features, short on
specifics.Haven't seen the flyer since. Any one had any dealings with
Polks hobby or this brand of radio?

Paint won't harden.12 Sep 2005 12:50 GMT12
A friend of mine helped to paint a fibergalss cowling  for another
friend. After leaving it in the sun for hours and three days later, he
took the cowling to his friend. The plastic bag used to "protect" the
cowling stuck onto the paint. I can push my thumb print onto the paint.
