Just decided to get back into r/c after a layoff of some time.  Wanted
to build something, but the only thing out there anymore are ARF's!

Can anybody explain the reason why a 3004 servo is less expensive than a
3001 servo (about £1).
My investigation has shown that the 3004 is identical to the 3001, other
than its weight is less, which I would have thought would have made it more

 I was just looking on their website(possible radio upgrade this
winter)  and was wondering...  IS the T7CAP capable of  FM  IN THE 6M
BAND? this is where i fly, and was wondering....  or do i have to go
to the 9C or the 9C super series?

I have several times seen reference to using the `floppy' material
from floppy disks as hinge material.
Anyone tried it for hinges, which glue... C.A ?

If I am using a 4200 KV motor with a 6.6:1 gearing ratio and a 12x6
prop, how can I calculate the thrust generated by this system?
Also, I am using a 25A ESC and a 11.1V 3-cell LiPo battery.
