| Gel cell longevity question; What am i doin' wrong? | 04 Oct 2005 13:01 GMT | 9 |
Having gone through three 7 AH gel cell field batteries in less than three years, i got a 12 AH and a dedicated 13.8V 'float' charger to be 'sure' this one would last a while. Well it went belly up after just a few months just like the others.

| Any commercial R/C hot-air airships? | 02 Oct 2005 23:16 GMT | 8 |
Does anyone know if there exist any commercially available hot-air airship "models"? And that, perchance, are radio controlled (R/C)? I've found "small" R/C helium airships, free-flight hot air balloons (small enough to be considered "model"), but no R/C hot air airships.

I have an O.S.120 that I'd like to put in an easy flyer for a bit of more relaxed flying , the Four Star 120 looks like it might fit the bill .but it looks like a fairly large plane at over 1200 sq. inches and up to 12 lbs.I'd like to have a relaxed flyer but not so underpowered ...

I'm on the hunt for a set of detailed scale drawings for the Piper PA-28 Cherokee family of planes (Cherokee 235 in particular, but I'll take whatever I can get) for an upcoming project. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone out there could provide a steer.
