Which motor is more powerful ?30 Nov 2005 22:42 GMT8
Hobby People had two "KMS" motors on sale today. How do ya tell which is
more powerful ? The specs on their web pages don't match the ones on the
boxes. The model 31/12 ,which I bought, was more expensive than the 31/21.
The box of the 31/12 lists the "current" as 0.4-9A . The ...

Giant Big Stick for 2nd airplane?29 Nov 2005 04:40 GMT7
I learned to fly a year ago with an Alpha .60 (with the Evolution
engine) and love it.  I have "wrung out" the Alpha with lots of stick
time and trying to learn the few tricks it is capable of.  I still love
the trainer but want a new giant scale plane for my next.  I thought

I have just found time to update my photo gallery of RC flying.  It starts
off with some shots of slope soaring taken down at Devil's Dyke near
Brighton, carries on with some more recent shots of power flying up on Epsom
Downs, and finishes off with some very old scanned slides of ...

motor and a 7-4 prop. They have you use their 7 cell NiCad battery (cp1300)
which I assume is a 1300 ma. It fits but there is ...

Engine mounting questions28 Nov 2005 03:40 GMT2
It has been about 30 years since I built a plane and the mind is a bit
cloudy so bear with me. I am building a Sig 4-Star 60 and am starting to
work on the firewall. It says to mount the engine mounts using the lines
drawn on the firewall from the plans. I assume that means to ...

I'm new to the rc group and was wondering if I could get some opinions on
the SR-71 we are building. The project is coming along well & many mods have
been made to the structure to accept the turbines for which it was
originally set up for DF engines. We hope to be in Toledo in ...
