Does anyone have a source for high density foam board - preferably a chain
store with branch in the Florida mid-Atlantic area. Or mail order.
Foam Tray sites?04 Nov 2005 19:55 GMT6
Howdy Folks,
I'm wanting to put together some super cheap foamies to mess around with
but I'm searching with the wrong phrase or something on Google to turn up
some of the sites I've seen in the past.

Hi I am planning a trip to Toronto / Niagara Falls and I thought I would
have some time to do a little shopping for R/C plane bits when I am there,
are there any good Hobby shops in the area I should check out ??

R/C Modeler Magazine...Gone?02 Nov 2005 21:29 GMT49
I just heard from a reliable "well informed" source out on the west
coast that R/C Modeler magazine is no more....I cannot beleive it.
I was a first issue subscriber, too.  In the "old days" there were
good articles and lots of planesto build. Seems as if the magazine had
Father & Son Solo Flight02 Nov 2005 13:25 GMT13
My 13 year old and I had the benefit of some earlier buddy box training and
were OK to fly solo in calm conditions.  My work schedule kept us from
regular flying but we took our Sig LT-40 up to the field the other day and
wound up completing our first unsupervised solos.
Need advice upgrading from HobbyZone stuff to ARF kits02 Nov 2005 07:14 GMT6
I am ready to upgrade to a Hobbico SuperStar EP ARF (Electric not gas) kit.
The kit comes with motor and ESC... I need to purchase at least a 4 channel
radio. Am I right in assuming I can use a 6 channel Futaba 6YG (in case I
need more channels for later planes) instead? Do I ...
Brushless-glow equivalency02 Nov 2005 06:53 GMT18
How can you determine if an electric for direct drive should be roughly
equal to a .40 two stroke. Then how do you match-up an ESC and lipos.
Apparently money is the answer but how do you spend it well.
Self-discharging pack?02 Nov 2005 05:27 GMT3
I have a new, no-brand 6-cell 1700 SC pack that I first charged at 100ma,
then subsequently charged on "auto" mode with my Simprop Intelli-control
charger (same as FMA Nova).  (The pack came with a Chinese R/C tank I bought
while perusing the Raindentech site for CMP ARFs.)  It ...
