An ultimate goal of mine is to build a flying replica of a boeing 747.
I have yet to find any plans.  Does anyone have any or know where i can
obtain them?

Just finished my first ever foamy, an Edge 540 loosely based on the
3DFoamy version and have a balance question...
Power is an E-flight 400 920Kv outrunner swinging an 11x4.7 prop,
E-flight 20 Amp ESC and 3cell 1320MaH LiPo.  Rx is a GWS 6 channel

I've decided to get back into flying (been away for a couple of years)
and was going to start refreshing my skills with my simulator.
Unfortunately, during the time away, my TX battery bit it :(

I brought one from Ebay for a laugh and find its impossible to fly a circuit
its just to underpowered, lucky I never spent the £100 on it, if I had I
would have been really cheesed off,  has any body got one to fly?

 I just have one question.... Why is it that when you first appear at
the field  grinning from ear to ear  with your new "non" trainer
trainer,the instructor looks at you  and says "that's not a trainer"

Hey all,
I have been struggling with a small electric plane over the past few
weeks.  It seems as though i lack the gentle touch these models
require.  In turn, I spend a lot of down time have the model re-wired.

Hi all. Does anyone have an idea where I can buy expanded polystyrene foam
from. Idealy 1 lb per cubic foot preferably in block form.I know the DIY
stores sell it as insulation  but the density is not right.

Has anyone tried using water-based Polyurethane in place of clear dope
to cover lightweight -electric- airframes with silkspan?  I started on
the tail surfaces with plastic films and am not at all happy with the
results.  The fumes from dope are too awful.  Note that I have built ...
