| Anyone flying the AK Models Christen Eagle 1.20 ARF? | 20 Apr 2006 06:01 GMT | 2 |
Just curious. I have one NIB and am contemplating which powerplant to use. Plus, I would just like to talk about it amongst my flying buddies (you). I have a Saito 1.25a that I know would fly it well, but not 3D. I'm not planning on doing 3D with this model anyway. I'll save that ...

| Got a .25 "spare" Any suggestions? | 20 Apr 2006 02:55 GMT | 19 |
The previous plane had a disagreement with gravity and is not in bits, the engine and gear survived so I'm after something stately rather than screaminly fact (as most small engined planes tend to be) but not a trainer!!

| Inverted Saito 180 | 20 Apr 2006 02:52 GMT | 3 |
Can anyone see any problems with using a Saio 180 Inverted then inverting the Carb. The carb is now below the Cylinder head. I intend to use a Pumped fuel system so tank/carb position is not relevant.

| Have you noticed? | 20 Apr 2006 02:44 GMT | 19 |
Have you noticed that what seems a disproportionate percentage of us obsessed with aviation, are also equally obsessed with photography and electronics? Personally, I'm retired from 30 years of electronic field service, 4 years

| Tail boom crease | 20 Apr 2006 01:56 GMT | 5 |
I recently cart wheeled my Aerobird Extreme into the ground, after foolishly taking to the skies after way to much booze and a strong wind. The subsequent cart wheel put a crease in the rear V-tail section, but just on the top side. I've taken it off the boom and was

| Out and about | 19 Apr 2006 13:49 GMT | 7 |
Blue sky ! Up the road to the beach for a quick check. Plenty of whitecaps on the sea and.... even better the wind is in the right direction. Trusty Flair Kestrel slung in the car and up onto the moors.

| Problem with brushed motor | 19 Apr 2006 13:31 GMT | 7 |
I'm fairly new to RC, but not to electronics. I'm itching to try out a new Mini Sportster, but I'm having problems with interference (RFI). When I throttle up, the 400-series electric motor begins to "miss" intermittently. At the same time, the servos glitch. I've installed ...

| Newb question | 19 Apr 2006 07:00 GMT | 5 |
I want to try helicopters. I've been advised to start with a mico electric model to get a taste. Anyone reccomend a good one? Not looking to spend much, parts readily available online is a preference. I'm uk based too. Thanks

| Put the Nextstar in the Trees | 18 Apr 2006 10:56 GMT | 8 |
Funny story...although embarrasing. I took the Nexstar out for my first RC flight at the inlaws ranch. This ranch has two real grass runways that run E/W and N/S. I had been planning on taking out at a local club in Houston but brought the plane along for Easter just in case I got
