Can anyone tell me a step by step foolproof (?) method for measuring,
cutting and installing a cowl? I always end up with the either the needle
valve or muffler holes off and its looks like hell. I'd certainly appreciate
it. Its a fiberglass cowl, not ABS.

After many years flying diesel and glow models - and dabbling in
electric flight using cheap brushed motors - I have just bought my
first brushless motor for a new electric model (Miss Hanger One).
I fully realize that BRUSHED motors need to be suppressed by soldering

I found out that my trusty hobby knife cuts more than just balsa but
can cut the umbilical cord to a newborn........
   Now let me back track a bit......Sunday, April 30th I got to the
field at 8:30am with my 25oz wing. It was a bit windy, about 15mph.

I used to have a dos basic program that, if I put in the span of the
wing and the total dihedral in inches...say each panel of a 48 inch
wing was raised 2 inches, this program would give me the angle at the
root....which is handy for setting up a table saw to cut the thick

I used to be very up to date on all the latest and greatest upgrades for the
PC back when the PIII 's were hot, but since then I've lost touch and I have
no idea what generation of laptops will work well with G3 which seems to be
pretty demanding.
