Hi I brought a Align brushless setup for my T-Rex which came with some odd
sized connectors 3mm  to be precise, I wired the motor/ESC connections with
some 2mm I had left over and used the 3mm for the batteries/charger  now I
want to buy another battery and I have no more ...

Are these things really necessary if one is not that bothered about getting
every last watt out of a pack? Do those people with reasonable experience of
LiPo cells use them?

Can anybody suggest a source of cheap full range receivers. Single frequency
and 6 channel. I cannot believe you can now buy tiny miniature Rx's weighing
6 gms for less than £20 but a bog standard chunky Futaba is still over £30!

Anybody here running Davis Diesel Development heads on engines in the
.40 -45 range?  What results have you had?  What about engines in the
.10-.15 range?  How much quieter are they?

If it is to check your frequency before you fly and it can only detect a TX
