Extremely - much more so than Model Airplane fields. Very few shooters get killed and maimed. The opposite is true with the little airplanes.

Has anybody got any views on the IDP scanner http://www.alshobbiesstore.com/acatalog/info_1864.html If it is to check your frequency before you fly and it can only detect a TX up to 1000 feet away, does it really help?
