| Another Newbie FAQ | 29 Jul 2006 08:19 GMT | 9 |
Bought a Bell 47 Twister from Addlestone £119.99, got it hovering inside and out then got cocky and clipped a few rotors (better than buliding for 6 months and £2000 later to find you cannot fly r/c's or get bored easily). Bought another a day or two later so can use the first one ...

| Question for the engine gurus.... | 29 Jul 2006 02:20 GMT | 15 |
I have, at last count, something like 23 Super Tigre engines (all but two or three made in Italy). With a few, mostly four-stroke-powered exceptions, my air force is primarily ST powered. I take pride in my engine tuning ability and all my two-stroke engines will most always ...

| Landing gear mod | 28 Jul 2006 18:34 GMT | 7 |
I have a wonderful flying Goldberg Chipmonk that is driving me nuts. The main gear is just a little too far back and it is difficult to keep it from nosing over. Keeping full up elevator while taxiing is helpful but not good enough to suit me. This arrangement is the standard ...

Good Evening. I am attempting to complete a model, and I am almost at the point of gluing the control surfaces to the tailfin, stabilizer, and wing with thin CA glue. (I will be using CA hinges for all of these joints). I opened a bottle of what was claimed to be thin CA glue, ...

| Difference between pusher and "pull" configuration? | 26 Jul 2006 19:12 GMT | 2 |
Being sooooo partial to my beloved little jets (and just having smashed one of them to pieces and not enough savings for a replacement lipo) I thought about building another one and putting an old 15-year-old glow engine on it - but in front. I didn't find much on that topic on ...
